About Poppa G

I have had a passion for woodworking since middle school where i was able to take my first shop class. Something about using simple hand tools and different tyes of wood to create something wonderful. I still have the original walnut and maple cutting board i made my mom 42 years ago and it is still in awesome condition. I am a proud father and grandfather and that is where Poppa G originated. I wanted to be called Poppa G and my first grandchild Jacobi started calling me Poppa G and it has stuck ever since. I am also an Army infantry veteran and am fortunate to have served my country. I was able to travel this great country and experience many other countries and cultures as well. Experiences that have made me who I am and a connection of brothers all over the country. I love making furniture as well as signs, cutting boards, decor items and almost anything else you can think of.
